it's the end of a bad thing, and the beginning of something worse
The world has always been insane. Now it’s worse.
The climate is changing. People can’t cope, so they just don’t. Much of the world will go hungry in the coming decades. Famine, war, natural disasters—common and gettin commoner. The latter half of the 20th century was a historical accident. Things are not getting better.
I, too, am failing to cope. I’m spending too much time in comment sections. I’m googling the best small game rifles. This “news” ”letter” is coping, and hopefully we can cope together.
I’m working on an essay about poverty and video games at the end of the world. I’m working on book reviews. News round ups? Poems? Unhinged polemics? It’s all on the table.
